Original Story

During the last night of the Democratic National Convention on Thursday, several President Trump supporters set up camp outside the Chase Center in Wilmington.

As the night progressed members of the crowd held up signs, flags, homemade posterboards, and some even chanted anti-Biden slogans.  Trump supporters were joined by a fleet of billboard box trucks with anti-Biden messaging and loudspeakers. The trucks drove around Wilmington posting old video clips of Biden and messages like “Creepy Joe” and “JOKE 2020”.

For the most part, the atmosphere appeared to be jovial with supporters laughing and chanting political slogans. For one group that changed when their sign was ripped up and a child’s hat was taken.  In a video posted by Students for Trump and later shared by Donald Trump Jr.,  two young women can be seen tearing up a Trump sign and yelling at a small boy before taking his MAGA hat. The video can be viewed below,

An email sent to the Wilmington Police Department regarding the incident had not been answered at the time of this posting.

“Moments ago outside of the DNC convention, Joe Biden supporters attacked a 7-year-old boy for wearing a MAGA Hat.

His name is Riley.
Watch it happen.
Listen to him cry.

Will Joe condemn this violence against Children?
