Two Trapped In I-95 Rollover Crash Tuesday Night

At approximately 8:50 pm Tuesday evening, New Castle County Paramedics and surrounding fire companies were dispatched to the area of Interstate 95 Southbound near Old Baltimore Pike Industrial Park for a motor vehicle crash with a report of a rollover, according to Paramedic Corporal Yvonne Russell.

Russell said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found two patients confined to the overturned vehicle. Fire personnel utilized specialized equipment and after about five minutes two patients were from the vehicle. The first patient, a 39-year-old-male, suffered injuries to his neck, chest, and knee.

The second patient, a 40-year-old-female, suffered injuries to her head, neck, back, and leg. Both patients were transported to Christiana Hospital by Christiana Fire Company ambulances accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics. Both patients were in stable condition at the time of transport.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
