TRAFFIC ALERT – Nighttime Closure of Exit 5A and Exit 3B for Bridge Demolition
Traffic Information: DelDOT announces to motorists that Exit 5A/I-95 southbound to Route 141 southbound and Exit 3B/Route 141 northbound to I-95 southbound will be closed at nights starting on Monday, November 30 and Tuesday, December 1. The hours of closure of the Exits will be from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. The nighttime ramps closure are necessary for the bridge demolition.
Detour Route for Exit 5A:
For traffic on I-95 southbound: Motorists will take the ramp to Route 141 northbound and take the ramp to Route 4 and continue straight onto Marshall Street, turn left onto Route 4/Justis Street and turn left onto James Street, turn left onto Route 4/Market Street and take the ramp to Route 141 southbound.
Detour Route for Exit 3B:
For traffic on Route 141 northbound: Motorists will take the ramp to Route 4 and continue straight onto Marshall Street and turn left onto Route 4/Justis Street and turn left onto James Street. Turn left onto eastbound Route 4/Market Street and take the ramp to Route 141 southbound and take the ramp to I-95 southbound.
Detour signage will be posted for motorists.
