Man Injured In High-Velocity Crash Late Tuesday

Delaware State Police are investigating the crash that left a man injured late Tuesday.

At approximately 10:40 p.m. New Castle County Paramedics, Talleyville Fire Company, and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to the 3800 block of Thompson Bridge Road in Wilmington for a high-velocity motor vehicle collision, according to Assistant Public Information Officer Emily Mallon.

Mallon said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found one patient, a 24-year-old male, in the care of emergency medical technicians. The patient suffered injuries to his abdomen and arm. He was treated on scene and transported to Christiana Hospital via Talleyville Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics. The patient was in stable condition at the time of transport.
