Email: Masks Will Be Required In Schools Until Further Notice

It appears that Delaware will require students to wear masks while attending school this year.

An email sent to parents from Henry B. du Pont Middle School’s principal states “Masks will be worn by students and staff.”

Attached to the email is a graphic created by the Department of Education and the Department of Health and Social Services. The graphic indicates that further guidance will be forthcoming, however, the email indicates some officials may be planning to require masking in schools.

This is a developing story.

Email to parents:

Students will attend in person 5 days a week.
Masks will be worn by students and staff.
Below are the current recommendations from the CDC.
