On Sunday, August 15, 2021, at approximately 1:45 AM, the Middletown Police Department responded to Middletown Trace Apartments on New Street in reference to a shooting, officials said Sunday.
Police said upon arrival they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound to their lower extremity. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and later released.
