At approximately 4:40 p.m., on Tuesday New Castle County Paramedics, Odessa Fire Company, Port Penn Fire Company, Delaware City Fire Company, and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to Route 1 Southbound in the area of the Drawyer Creek Bridge for reports of a motor vehicle collision with rollover.
Upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found a single patient. A 17-year-old female was treated for possible head and back injuries. She was transported to Christiana Hospital via Odessa Fire Company ambulance, accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics, in serious condition.
Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
