Fire Marshals Investigating Three Fires In Waterford Mobile Home Park

The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s office is currently investigating several fires in the Waterford Mobile Home Park, according to Delaware State Fire Marshal Chief Deputy Robert Fox.

Fox said on Friday evening February 25th, The Christiana Fire was called to the area of Ranee Loop and Vincent Lane for a mattress on fire in the yard of one of the residences. The fire was quickly extinguished by the fire company.

The next day, on Saturday morning February 26th, The Christiana Fire was called to the 500 block of Vincent Lane for a vehicle fire. The fire caused heavy damage to the resident’s pick-up truck. That fire was also extinguished by the fire company.

Also on Saturday morning February 26th another vehicle fire was found by a resident as he attempted to enter the vehicle. The fire had burned itself out and there was no fire department response.

Fox said these three incidents are actively being investigated by Fire Marshal Deputies. If you were a victim of a similar incident during this time the Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is asking you to call them at 323-5375. If you have any information or video surveillance they would like to contact them as well.
