One Trapped, One Ejected In Wednesday Morning Crash

Just after 8:00, Wednesday morning rescue crews from the Camden Wyoming Fire Company, Dover Fire Department, Kent County Medics, and Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 4 were dispatched to the 11000 block of Willow Grove Road for reports of a serious crash with injuries.

Crews were alerted that callers were reporting that the accident involved a rollover crash with entrapment and ejection. First arriving reported a two-vehicle accident with one vehicle on its side. Command also confirmed that one patient was ejected from a vehicle and another was trapped.’

At 8:14 am Command reported that the trapped patient had been freed from the vehicle. The extent of the patients’ injuries are unknown at this time.

DelDOT reported that the road had reopened at around 9:10 am.
