The New Castle County Police are actively investigating a report of indecent exposure that occurred in August 2022.
Officials said on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at approximately 4:00 p.m., a victim reported that she was talking on her cellphone while walking on the path in the southwest corner of the park (near SR896). She then observed a white male on the opposite side of the fence exposing his genitalia. The victim screamed for her friend on the other line to call 9-1-1 at which time, the male subject fled on foot toward the roadway.
Officers conducted a property check of the area, however, they were unable to locate the subject. The suspect is described as a white male, 30-40 years of age, 5’9’’ to 5’11’’ tall, with short black hair and a receding hairline. Lastly, he was wearing black shorts and a light blue shirt with a logo.
