Just after 9:30 Friday morning, Cecil County rescue crews were dispatched to a home in the unit block of Hebron Court, north of Elkton, Maryland, in the Elk Mills area.
Crews responded to the area for reports that multiple people had been shot inside.
Initial reports from the scene indicate that recuse crews were staging prior to police making entry. Shortly after deputies made entry into the home they discovered five deceased people inside the home.
