Motorcycle Officer Escorting Biden Crashes Closing Route 141 In Newport

Just after 9:30 Monday morning, an officer escorting Joe Biden to New Castle County Airport from his home in Greenville crashed their motorcycle.

The officer was transported to Christian Hospital, however, information regarding the officer’s injuries is not available at this time.

The crash has closed Route 141 SB in Newport.
