On Wednesday morning, just before 7:50 AM, emergency crews responded to Governor Printz Blvd. in the area of the Edgemoor Post Office for a tractor-trailer that had gone off I-495 and overturned. The first responders on the scene confirmed the reports and quickly worked to assess the situation.

As a result of the accident, the road was shutdown to motorists. The authorities requested an ETA of Trooper 4, a helicopter operated by Delaware State Police Aviation.

Shortly after arrival, Trooper 4 transported the driver of the tractor-trailer to the trauma center at Christiana Hospital.
