Wednesday Afternoon Shooting Leaves Man In Critical Condition

In Wilmington, local law enforcement is currently investigating a shooting that occurred in the 600 block of East 8th Street. The incident transpired at approximately 3:13 p.m., leading to a response from both law enforcement and emergency services.

Upon arrival, officers found a 34-year-old male who had sustained gunshot wounds, necessitating immediate medical attention. Emergency services arrived at the scene, and the victim was subsequently transported to the hospital in critical condition.
