At approximately 6:00 Sunday morning the New Castle County Paramedics responded to the 1300 Block of Walnut Street, in the Holly Hill Trailer Park, for the report of a house trailer on fire. Paramedics arrived on scene and treated a single patient.
A 59-year-old male occupant of the residence was treated for smoke inhalation. He was transported to the Christiana Hospital, in Stanton, in serious condition.
The Delaware State Fire Marshal is investigating the incident.
