Authorities in Cecil County, Maryland, are investigating a homicide that occurred on Monday.
The shooting occurred shortly before 5 p.m., in the unit block of Hickory Lane, which is situated just off Muddy Lane in Elkton.
Initial information from the scene pointed towards a teenager being the victim of a fatal shooting. However, subsequent updates suggest that the victim was a young man. Police have yet to release details surrounding the incident.
