High-Speed Chase Leads To Crash, Taser Deployment

Just before 9:20 on Friday evening, rescue crews were dispatched to the intersection of Governor Printz Boulevard and Grubbs Landing Road in response to reports of a crash with injuries.

The incident reportedly involved a high-speed pursuit by Delaware State Police of a vehicle with multiple occupants. It was reported that the vehicle, while attempting to evade police, crashed into a fence at a speed of approximately 70 miles per hour.

Further details indicated that the vehicle had reached speeds estimated at 100 miles per hour prior to the crash.

Following the incident, one occupant, a male in his 20s, reportedly fled the scene on foot. Law enforcement officers deployed a taser to apprehend him in the area of Princeton and Riverside, approximately a block away from the crash site. A second occupant, identified only as a female, refused medical transport at the scene. It remains unclear if there were additional individuals in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

This is a Developing story, if Delaware State Police releases additional details, we will post an update.
