Teen Riding Bicycle Robbed At Gunpoint

The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred last night in Dover.

Officials said on June 17, 2024, at approximately 9:42 p.m., troopers responded to an armed robbery on South State Street near Cool Springs Drive in Dover.

The preliminary investigation showed that a 16-year-old victim was riding his bike on South State Street when he was approached by a black male suspect. The suspect pushed the victim off his bike, pointed a gun at him, and took his property according to police. The suspect fled the area in an unknown vehicle. The victim was not hurt during the incident.
