He Died Weeks Later, However, Police Have Been Unable To Find His Killer

Wilmington Cold Case investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in solving the killing of Kellier Flamer, a 22-year-old man from New Castle, Delaware, who was shot on the evening of January 15, 2019, in the Hilltop neighborhood of Wilmington.

At approximately 7:04 p.m. on that day, Wilmington Police responded to reports of a shooting in the 1200 block of Conrad Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered Flamer suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics provided immediate care at the scene before transporting him to the hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.

In February 2019, police announced that Flamer had succumbed to his injuries. He was a resident of Constitution Boulevard in New Castle. Despite efforts by law enforcement, the case remains unsolved, and investigators are asking anyone with information that may lead to an arrest to come forward.

Authorities urge those with details about the incident to contact the Wilmington Police Department or provide anonymous tips through Delaware Crime Stoppers. Investigators hope that with the public’s help, justice can be served in this tragic case.
