On Saturday emergency response crews were dispatched to the Family Dollar at 2600 Northeast Boulevard just before 1:00 p.m. following reports of a shooting.
Upon arrival, responders located a man in his 20s who had reportedly sustained injuries from gunfire. The victim was provided with medical attention at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital. His condition and the severity of his injuries remain undetermined at this time.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. No further details have been released.
