Police Mum On Incident At Christiana Mall Sunday

On Sunday evening at approximately 7:30, law enforcement agencies converged on the Christiana Mall area in large numbers. Despite over 13 hours passing since the initial response, authorities have not released details regarding the incident or the reason for their response.

Preliminary reports indicate that at least one firearm was displayed, prompting a large-scale search of both the mall area and the nearby Fashion Center. Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 4 and K-9 units were involved in the search.

Witness accounts remain unclear on whether any shots were fired. While many reported law enforcement activity concentrated at the mall, a considerable police presence was also observed at the Fashion Center, leading to speculation about the scope of the incident.

Officials have yet to provide further updates.
