Firefighters and emergency crews were dispatched to the intersection of Edgemoor Road and Denny Road just before 8:50 p.m. on Friday following reports of a vehicle fire. Upon arrival, responders encountered a vehicle fully involved in flames.
The incident command requested zone fire police to assist with traffic control in the area. As crews worked to suppress the blaze, additional resources were responding. However, after assessing the situation, officials determined that no injuries had occurred, leading to the cancellation of the responding ambulance. The fire was extinguished by 9:02 and the incident was place under control at about ten minutes later.
Traffic in the area was temporarily affected as emergency personnel operated, but normal flow was restored once the scene was cleared.
