Wilmington Police are conducting an investigation into a shooting that took place Sunday night in the 500 block of East 4th Street.
Authorities responded to the scene at approximately 10:18 p.m., where they located a 47-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.
Police have not released information regarding potential suspects or the events leading up to the incident.
