ChristianaCare To Open New Hospital In Chester County

ChristianaCare is set to open its new West Grove Campus in summer 2025, reestablishing vital health care services in southern Chester County. The facility is located at the former Jennersville Hospital site and has undergone significant renovations to prepare for its new role as a neighborhood hospital.

The new 20,000-square-foot facility will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  They will have a 10-bed inpatient unit for those who require overnight hospital stays, observation and testing.

The emergency department will treat common emergency care needs such as falls, injuries, heart attacks and strokes. Patients needing care for more acute problems or require surgery, will be transferred to a larger hospital to receive a higher level of care.

They expect to open this in Summer 2025.
