Woman Struck And Killed Early Monday

A fatal pedestrian crash occurred Monday morning on North Rehoboth Boulevard in Milford, according to police.

At approximately 6:32 a.m. on January 19, 2026, a 2024 BMW X3 was traveling northbound on North Rehoboth Boulevard near Perdue Farms when an 81-year-old female pedestrian entered the northbound travel lane for an unknown reason and was struck by the vehicle.

Police and emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and initiated lifesaving measures on the pedestrian. She was transported to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her identity is being withheld pending notification of her family. The 75-year-old driver was not injured in the crash.

North Rehoboth Boulevard was closed for approximately two and a half hours while officers conducted the on-scene investigation. The investigation remains ongoing.
