Police Identify Man Killed Milford Crash Friday

The Milford Police Department is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred early Friday morning.

On March 27, 2026, at approximately 7:10 a.m., a 2012 Jeep Liberty was traveling northbound on North Street, just north of Northwest 4th Street, when for unknown reasons the vehicle struck a parked vehicle before leaving the roadway and colliding with an electrical pole. Following the collision, the vehicle caught fire.

Milford Police officers who arrived on scene removed the sole occupant from the vehicle. Police and EMS personnel immediately began life-saving measures on Tyler Wilson of Milford. He was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.

North Street between Northwest 4th Street and North Street Extension was closed for approximately two and a half hours while the crash was investigated and the damaged electrical pole was repaired.
