Delaware State Police are investigating a shots-fired incident reported Tuesday night in the Middletown area.
Troopers were dispatched at approximately 10 p.m. August 25 to Marl Pit Road near Cedar Lane Road after receiving a report of gunfire. During the investigation, troopers found spent shell casings in the roadway.
No injuries or property damage have been reported. The Delaware State Police Criminal Investigations Unit is continuing to investigate.
