Dot Foods, Inc. celebrated the opening of a new Family Health Center at its Bear distribution center last week, completing the company’s initiative to provide health care services at all 13 of its U.S. distribution centers.
The 1,524-square-foot facility, located at 301 American Boulevard, is operated by Marathon Health and serves more than 200 Dot Foods and Dot Transportation employees, along with eligible spouses and dependent children.
Services available include primary care, sick visits, preventive screenings, chronic disease management, wellness education, annual physicals, lab work, vaccinations, and Department of Transportation physicals for commercial drivers. The family health center also offers employees easy access and refills to their prescribed medications.
Many services are available at no cost to eligible employees and their families, while others are offered at reduced rates.
The opening comes as Dot Foods continues a major expansion of its Bear distribution center, adding more than 150,000 square feet of warehouse space. The project is expected to be completed in spring 2027.
Dot Foods and Dot Transportation expect to add more than 60 warehouse and truck driver positions over the next year to support the expansion.
