Second Person Found Dead Floating In The Water, Separate Incidents


North East, MD. – North East Police and Maryland Natural Resources Police are on scene investigating a body found floating in the North East River.

Fires and rescue crews responded to W Church Point Road in North East, MD  just after noon today for reports of a body floating in the water.

The body has been removed from that water and taken to a nearby canoe rental business boat ramp as authorities investigate. Rescue crews from the North East Fire Company were told that they would not be utilized and left the scene looking shaken.

A second incident in Wilmington, Delaware happen some time after 1:00p.m.

Wilmington –  Units from Belvedere Fire Company, Delaware Department of Natural Resources and ares rescue crews responded to the Christrina River area near Justison Street in Wilmington for a report of a Water Rescue.

Reports from the scene indicate that the person was found floating lifeless in the water.
