Happening Now: Route 4 In Front Of Hospital Shut Down, Motorcycle Struck

Update: The patient has been transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries. One lane of traffic has been reopened. State Police are on scene investigating.

Reports from the scene indicate that a bicyclist was struck however the vehicle on scene looks more like a motorcycle, via DelDOT cameras.

Stanton – Rescue crews have responded to Route 4 in front of Christiana Hospital for reports of a bicyclist that has been struck by a vehicle.

Crews have closed the road and are treating the patient.
