House Fire Near Talleyville, Injured Woman Flown To Crozer Burn Center

At approximately 2:25 pm hours this afternoon, New Castle County Paramedics, Brandywine Hundred, Claymont, Talleyville and Bethel Township Fire Companies were dispatched to the 2400 block of Magnolia Drive in Naamans Gardens for a residential fire with report of a subject injured, according to Paramedic First Class Yvonne Russell.

Russell said upon arrival New Castle County Paramedics found the patient, 29-year-old female, with burns to her face, chest, hands and feet. The patient was treated on scene for her injuries. The patient was transported by ambulance to a nearby soccer field where she was transferred to the Delaware State Police helicopter, Trooper 4, for transport to Crozer Chester Medical Center, a Pennsylvabnia hospital that specializes in the treatment burns.  The patient was in stable condition at the time of transport, according to Russell.

State Fire Marshal was on scene and investigating the fire.

Talleyville – Fire crews from across New Castle County are responding to the 2400 block of Magnolia Drive for reports of a home on fire.

Arriving crews have alerted dispatch that smoke is showing from the home.  Medical crews have located one patient and has asked for Trooper 4

for transport to the hospital.

Patient will be flown to Crozer Burn Center In Chester, PA.
