Townsend – Rescue Crews from the Townsend Fire Company and New Castle County Paramedics, along with Delaware State Police are responding to the 1000 block of Dexter Corner Road for reports a vehicle accident with injuries.
Reports from the scene indicate that one occupant is injured after striking a tree. Medics have requested a trauma alert from the hospital.
The accident occurred just before 1:00 pm, approximately 4 miles south of downtown Townsend.
