Newark – Rescue crews from the Christiana Fire Company, along with crews from the Minques Fire Company and Delaware State Police responded to the 600 block of Churchman’s Road for reports of a traffic collision with entrapment.
Arriving crews found one patient trapped as a result of a head-on collision involving two suvs. Fire crews worked for several minutes to extricate the patient that was trapped inside the Toyota.. Reports from the scene indicate that two patients have been transported to Christina Hospital with undetermined injuries.
Troopers remain on scene as they investigate the accident. Only one lane of traffic is getting by. Avoid the area.
