New Castle – At 3:30 this morning rescue crews from the Minquas Fire Company, along with New Castle County Paramedics, Delaware State Police and area Fire Police responded to Route 141 (West Basin Rd) and Interstate 95 South Onramp for reports of an injury rollover into the woods.
Upon arrival, crews reported a vehicle down the embankment and that crews were making their way to the patient. Reports from the scene indicate that the driver hit the guardrail and ended up approximately 150 feet into the woods.
At 3:42 am command reported that the extrication was complete and that medics were treating the patient.
Injury and transport information is not available at this time.
The ramp to I-95 SB remained was closed while crews worked to clear the scene.
