Newark – Just after 7:30 this morning the Newark Police posted a traffic alert on their Twitter account ” Ritter Lane is closed between Orchard Rd and Townsend Rd due to a motor vehicle crash with a downed electric pole. City electric crews are on scene. The road will be closed for an extended period of time as crews work to repair the pole.”
No injuries were reported by police.
