Stanton – Just after 4:00 this afternoon rescue crews from the Mill Creek Fire Company, along with crews from the Belvedere and Christiana Fire Companies and New Castle County Paramedics responded to Stanton Christiana Road and Route 7 South for an injury accident.
Early reports from the scene indicate that two, possibly three, patients were evaluated, with at least one transported to the hospital.
The accident caused fire police to shut all but one lane for about an hour.
Some traffic was diverted onto old Route 7 for about 20 minutes.
