Just before 12:00 this afternoon rescue crews from the Christiana Fire Company, along with Delaware State Police responded to Route 40 at Eden Square Shopping Center for a crash involving multiple vehicles.
At this time we do not have information injuries.
At least two lanes of Route 40 EB were closed while crews worked to evaluate patients and remove debris from the roadway.
Multiple vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
All lanes of travel have been reopened.
