Two Injured Tuesday Afternoon In Fairfax Rollover

At approximately 12:30 p.m. New Castle County Paramedics, Talleyville Fire Company, and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to the 200 block of Murphy Road in North Wilmington for reports of a motor vehicle collision with rollover and entrapment, according to NCCEMS Assistant PIO Emily Mallon.

Mallon said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found two patients. A 60-year-old male was found trapped in the vehicle and was extricated by Talleyville Fire Company in approximately four minutes. He suffered injuries to his neck and back. A 68-year-old female was found out of the vehicle in the care of emergency medical technicians. She was treated for chest and abdominal injuries.

Both patients were transported to Wilmington Hospital via Talleyville Fire Company ambulances accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics in stable condition.

Delaware State Police is investigating the crash.
