Just after 3:00, Monday afternoon rescue crews responded to the 492 South Red Haven Lane, Piazza Mia-Italian Bar & Grill, for reports of a crash with airbag deployment.
Upon arrival, crews ordered the southbound lanes of Route 13 closed. A witness at the scene tells FSU that three cars and a tractor-trailer were involved in an accident involving a suspect that was fleeing from police.
Troopers issued the following statement at around 3:30 on Monday “Traffic Advisory- S Dupont Hwy @ Longacre village is currently Shut down Northbound and Southbound. Motorists should seek alternate routes of travel.”
The witness said that the female suspect was taken into custody immediately after the crash.
