Crash Shuts Down NB Coastal Highway Saturday In Rehoboth Beach

Just after 8:30, Saturday evening rescue crews from Rehoboth Beach and Lewes responded to the Coastal Highway and Terrace Road for a crash involving multiple vehicles.

While en route crews learned that four vehicles were involved in the accident and that there were only minor injures involved.

Upon arrival, crews reported heavy debris in the roadway and advised that they were closing the northbound lanes of Coastal Highway.

It’s believed that four patients were transported with non-life-threatening injuries.

The road was closed for approximately two hours while State Police investigated and crews cleared the debris.
