Four Injured In Newark Rollover Tuesday Morning, Two In Critical

At approximately 1:25 a.m., New Castle County Paramedics (NCCEMS), Aetna Hose Hook & Ladder Company of Newark, Christiana Fire Company, and Delaware State Police Aviation were dispatched to the intersection of Country Club Drive and Windsor Drive for a motor vehicle collision involving a vehicle rolled over, according to NCCEMS Assistant PIO Emily Mallon.

Mallon said upon arrival, New Castle County Paramedics found an overturned vehicle with four patients trapped inside.
A 24-year-old male was extricated from the vehicle by fire department personnel after 2 minutes. He was treated for a possible head injury. He was transported to Christiana Hospital via Aetna Hose Hook & Ladder Company ambulance, accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics, in stable condition.

A 23-year-old female was extricated from the vehicle by fire department personnel after 3 minutes. She was treated for a possible head injury. She was transported to Christiana Hospital via Aetna Hose Hook & Ladder Company ambulance, accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics, in stable condition.

An 21-year-old male was extricated from the vehicle by fire department personnel after 32 minutes. He was treated for a possible head injury and internal injuries. He was transported to Christiana Hospital via Delaware State Police Aviation, accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics, in critical condition.

An 21-year-old male was extricated from the vehicle by fire department personnel after 41 minutes. He was treated for a possible head injury and internal injuries. He was transported to Christiana Hospital via Aetna Hose Hook & Ladder Company ambulance, accompanied by New Castle County Paramedics, in critical condition.

Newark Police are investigating the crash.
