Elkton, Maryland Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Sunday morning.
Elkton Police said officers responded to the unit block of Thatch Court located in the Turnquist community around 6 AM this Sunday morning.
Arriving officers discovered the victim, 43-year-old Kelvin D. Smith, of Elkton, laying in the roadway. Smith had succumbed to injuries received after having been shot, according to police.
