Rescue crews from several fire companies and medics along with LifeNet and Trooper 2 have responded to the area of John J Williams Highway at Washington Street Extension in Millsboro for a crash with injuries.
Initial reports from the scene indicate that between 7 and 8 patients have been injured in a head-on collision. Command has declared a Level 1 Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) which will add additional resources to the incident.
Both helicopters are expected to be utilized.
