Reports: Barricaded Shooting Suspect Incident Moves Into Its Fifth Hour

Wilmington Police continue to surround a Jefferson Street row home over five hours after the incident first began.

Just after 10:00 Saturday morning Wilmington Police and rescue crews responded to a shooting near the intersection of 5th Street and Jefferson Street.

Responding crews found a 63-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

Sources tell FSU that police surrounded a row home in the 400 block of N. Jefferson Street shortly after the incident.  Police believe the suspect in the shooting is held up inside the home.

A second ambulance responded to the 500 block of 4th street for a second person that was injured in relation to this incident.
