Two Reportedly Shot Tuesday, Including A Child

Wilmington police are currently investigating a double shooting that occurred on Tuesday afternoon.

The incident took place in the area of Maryland Avenue and Broom. Initial reports indicate tha police responded to reports of a drive-by shooting with possibly one person was shot. Upon the arrival of the first officers, the found two individuals, including a 13-year-old, had been hit by gunfire according to reports.

Additional reports suggest that the injured individuals were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. However, officials have not yet released specific details regarding the incident or provided information about any potential arrests.
