Around 11:40, emergency responders from the Odessa Fire Company, along with New Castle County Paramedics, Delaware State Police Aviation’s Trooper 4 and New Castle County Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Lissicasey Loop in Middletown, in response to reports of a shooting incident. The nature of the incident was described as a drive-by shooting to FSU.
Details regarding the incident were limited, but it was reported that a victim had sustained gunshot wounds and has been airlifted to a medical facility for further treatment.
