Wilmington Police are investigating a fatal accident that occurred Monday morning.
Just before 5:50 rescue crews responded to the intersection of MLK and N Monroe Street for reports of pedestrian struck. Upon arrival, first responders confirmed that the individual had succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
