The Smyrna Police Department is actively investigating a shooting that occurred in Smyrna on Monday.
The incident took place on the night of March 4, 2024, around 11:45 PM, in the 500 block of Sequoia Drive.
Officials said a 25-year-old male victim was found with a gunshot wound to his upper body in the 300 block of Braddock Road.
After officers provided initial medical aid, EMS transported the victim to a hospital where he is reported to be in stable condition.
The police are seeking information and any relevant camera footage from the public.
