7-Eleven Robbed At Gunpoint Saturday

The Delaware State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a Wilmington 7-Eleven last night.

Officials said on March 23, 2024, at approximately 6:58 p.m., troopers responded to a robbery at 7-Eleven, located at 298 South Maryland Avenue in Wilmington. During the investigation, troopers learned that an unknown male suspect approached employees in the store with a handgun and demanded money according to police. The employees complied and the suspect ran eastbound from the store on Maryland Avenue. Troopers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a black male wearing dark clothing and a mask.
