Troopers Investigating New Castle Robbery

The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that occurred early this morning at a New Castle area Dash In gas station.

Officials said on June 20, 2024, at approximately 4:16 a.m., troopers responded to a report of a robbery at the Dash In located at 154 North Dupont Highway in New Castle. The preliminary investigation revealed an unknown white male suspect entered the Dash In and demanded the employee empty the cash register while implying he was in possession of a firearm according to police. The employee complied and the suspect fled on foot southbound on N. Dupont Highway with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing dark-colored clothing and a mask.
